5815 Lee Avenue
The intent of this Blog is to track the progress of the construction of our house at 5815 Lee Avenue for which planning began over three years ago. Originally, I wanted to manage the whole thing myself by hiring all of the subs. But in the end we decided to hire a builder to do the core and shell. I'll do the permit procurement, site work and interior finishes.

That's crazy. Why should the government get money from a self-contained system? I can understand charging for private well usage because the water table is shared by everybody.
BTW - We did receive the Health Dept approval a couple of weeks ago. The process was quick and painless.
